More studying without a book!

Hello loyal language learners!

This post will be pretty short so that you can start your listening as soon as possible.

I almost always listen to a podcast when I'm walking to work. Sometimes, I listen to a Japanese podcast just so that I can practice my listening. Sure, I don't understand a lot of what is being said, but it's still really good practice. I already know that I am improving.

So, here is a short list of English podcasts (and one YouTube video) that you might like. They can be found on the Apple store, on a website, or on any other site you use. Enjoy your practice!

1) Lore: This is a podcast about strange and sometimes supernatural (ghost) stories from the United States. It is great!

2) No Such Thing As a Fish: This podcast has four people who talk about strange facts. They are all professional news workers. They are British, so sometimes the accent might be a little tough, but it is good practice and really funny!

3) Levar Burton Reads: This is a story podcast. This new podcast by Levar is specifically for adults. He picks his favourite short stories and reads them for us. He is awesome!

4) Reading RainbowLevar is a famous actor who began his career with a children's TV show. On that show, he read a children's book out-loud. It was super popular and enjoyed by kids and adults! This show can be watched on YouTube now. The story below is one of my favourites!

There are many podcasts out there that specifically help you to learn English, but sometimes the English learning podcasts can be a little boring. Try one of these to add some entertainment and fun to your learning.

They will be a little hard at first, but as you improve, you'll feel awesome. Also, they are free!

If you are tired of studying the old way, we can fix that!
