This is a quick post. Two weeks ago, I got back from a trip to Winnipeg, Manitoba (the capital city). I was just looking at my pictures and I found a fun one. Manitoba (the whole province) has many Ukrainian, Polish, and German people, so these types of restaurants are very good. However, Manitoba does not have very many Japanese people, so the Japanese restaurants are often not so good or just funny.
Here is a picture of one Japanese restaurant from Selkirk, Manitoba (a smaller city I visited that is famous for fishing). It is in two pictures because I was in a car driving by it. No, I did not eat at this restaurant;)
Sake, gelato, ice cream, and sushi?! That just seems weird.
If you don't have the vocabulary to describe a place like this, we can fix that!
